week 18: a little rough.

It's been a while since our last update for a few reasons:

We used up our camera's memory card and needed a new one, but through a series of misadventures couldn't find one that worked in our camera. This is the first time since she was born that I didn't take a picture of her for an entire week.

Putting Lorelei to bed without a swaddle has been rough on everyone to the point that posting updates has been too exhausting.

Lorelei seems to be going through a particularly difficult phase even discounting the unswaddling fiasco, according to a book we've been reading -- she's getting ready for a big developmental leap, I guess, and that makes her act like a "zaby" (Jason's term for her when she's been a "zany baby").

It's been a rough time here for us. But Lorelei did star in a movie today that was filmed by an actual videographer and not just her camera-neophyte mother -- when the final cut is ready for public consumption, you'll be the first to know!
