20 months.

Today, I am 20 months old!

I love my new playroom - especially my easel and my brand new kitchen. I love my new room and the big flight of stairs going up to it; what fun to be able to climb up and down whenever I want to! (Mommy and Daddy say I need to have one of them with me when I try, though.) Life has been busy around here lately with packing and moving but I'm excited to start having new adventures here in my new house!

With all the packing and errands and an exhausted first-trimester mommy, Lorelei's been going a little stir-crazy.

Luckily, she's got a partner in crime who likes to have a good time just as much as she does. The two of them make an awfully good duo.

And here's some sweet music to our ears: we close on the new house tomorrow! Hooray!

So the boys in green and gold didn't go all the way this year - that's not stifling the enthusiasm of a certain little Packer Backer we know and love.

It's official: we're moving a few miles down the road to a house big enough for our soon-to-be family of four! Lorelei has been a great help with packing...

32.

Today, I turned 32. To celebrate, Ross + Meredith + Jason + my dad and I (Mom had to work) headed to the MOA to go on rides with Lorelei. We each took turns taking her on a ride or two - and then Ross, Jason, and Meredith went on a few "adult" rides too. Lorelei definitely seemed to prefer some over others, and she tried to climb off her carousel mount and onto Meredith mid-ride! We followed up our morning of fun with an ice cream treat - definitely Lorelei's favorite part :)

We spent a wonderful morning together at the zoo - got there right when it opened and had things almost to ourselves at first. By the time we left, it was packed - guess everybody thinks heading to the zoo is a good thing to do during winter break when you're stuck inside due to the cold!

Lorelei was fascinated by the animals even more than when we've taken her to the zoo before - and seemed a little nervous about a few, too (she didn't want to have anything to do with the hands-on "wave pool" because it was so loud!). But the penguins were a definite hit!
